BENCHMARKING IN HEALTHCARE QUALITY

Benchmarking in Healthcare Quality and Accreditation

Benchmarking for health system performance is a relatively recent approach to health sector policy making. Several challenges to effective benchmarking continue to affect the usefulness of benchmarking for health sector performance and policy making. Data availability is key to a well functioning benchmarking system. These event provoides participants with the best benchmarking Knowledge, quality tools and Initiatives being urbanized and used in health care today.

This Symposium provides authoritative, practical, and essential tips, discoveries, and

Techniques covering crucial quality management and benchmarking issues, such as:

  1. Case studies of specific quality improvement and benchmarking projects that increase quality and reduce costs;
  2. How to identify sources for comparative benchmarking data;
  3. How to make use of the latest and most powerful approaches to improving quality;
  4. Detailed descriptions of benchmarking techniques that have been implemented successfully at facilities like yours;
  5. How to overcome the obstacles to collecting good data.
